    Good afternoon you beautiful CRMers! I am super excited to be speaking at Summit again this year and wanted to get feedback from any new/newer System Admins. One of my topics will be "Writing Your First Workflow." In addition to walking through the process of workflow writing, I want to actually make one or two that would be applicable to your business. (I'll note the obvious, but the target of this session is a new system admin who hasn't really delved into workflow writing too much, if at all, yet.)

    Which brings me to my question for all of you: What is a workflow that you would like to learn to write?

    I am planning to do a very basic one for Sales - a Lead Assignment Workflow that will show you step by step how to have an email sent to the owner of the lead with important info and a link to the record. But the second workflow idea.... I leave up to you! What would you like to learn about??

    I am thrilled to hear you will be speaking at Summit this year - what a fantastic opportunity! I couldn't agree more with your last sentence 'The best sessions are the ones where you actually take something away from them."

    ​Hi Heidi,

    Super excited to see you present at Summit.  I would like to see an example of a "Wait" workflow, I never can seem to get those to work.  An example of what I've tried in the past is "Wait" 3 Days after end date of Appointment then send e-mail to owner of appointment as a follow-up reminder.  For some reason I haven't been able to get those type of workflows to work, they always get stuck in my system jobs.
